Antiques Road Trip

Filming took place in June as part of a new series of Antiques Road Trip which is currently being aired.  This highly successful series is shown on BBC 2.

Two pairs of experts travel around the country in classic cars competing to make the most money buying from dealers, shops, and various other places then sell their items at auction.

This program features Mark Stacey and Mark Hales travelling in an old Triumph Spitfire, pictured with Jim Gallie and John Bedford.

Celebrity Antiques Road Trip

We had a film crew here a few weeks ago, filming a new series of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip .

The celebrities were Sue Holdiness (Marlene) and John Challis (Boycie) from Only Fools and Horses.  This is due to be aired in November.

The Antiques experts Philip Serrel, teamed up with John, and Charles Hanson with Sue, to see who could make the most profit from selling on the items they had purchased at Battlesbridge.

Canadian Olympic Mountain Bike Team

Catherine Pendrel, seated in the picture below, was the World Champion but was out of the medals this time.

After a good start she unfortunately fell off her bike and was unable to recover the race at the Hadleigh Farm Event this year.

Below is a picture of the Canadian Olympic Mountain Bike Team, with Jim's two youngest daughters Thea and Delta who is seated on Catherine's lap.
