Our Furniture

Stipple and Dab are based at Battlesbridge Antiques Centre in Essex.
The company was started after many years of creating unique furniture for myself, friends and family.  We source all the furniture ourselves (mainly at antique furniture auctions) and create the finished pieces in the workshop/showroom.  The end result is a truly individual piece that you and your friends will love and best of all is truly unique.
As well as having a great item for your home you can also find reassurance in the fact that you are doing your bit to re-use instead of buy new.  We work hard at Stipple and Dab to source good quality practical pieces of furniture for any room in the house, we refinish, hand paint, restore and revitalise a wide range of interesting wooden furniture from nearly new pine dressers to 70's retro and beyond.  We only choose furniture which has something special about it to begin with such as its usefulness or a unique or interesting detail.

Your Furniture

At Stipple and Dab we love nothing more that working with our customers on their own pieces of furniture.  We offer a full hand painted service here at Stipple and Dab from Kitchen Cupboards to your Dining Table and Chairs and everything else in between.  We can create totally unique looking furniture for your home from bold feature pieces to the bringing together of many different styles of furniture into one modern look.  You can choose from over 150 colours from our Autentico pure and natural paints, then choose the style from a modern gloss to a shabby chic look.  We will happily arrange collection or you can bring your piece into the workshop yourself.  We can also offer this service in your own home, we can update fitted furniture such as kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.  It could also be that the item is just too big to move.

Painting Workshops

Why not learn how to paint a little love into your furniture, you can easily create something beautiful out of that tired old Pine bedroom set or how about adding a little colour to your kitchen dresser.We have created a great learning experience right here in the studio, a safe supportive and relaxed environment in which to let your creative juices flow.  Our range of workshops are perfect for all abilities; you will be given the skills you need to achieve professional, durable and creative pieces of furniture for your vintage/modern home.  Why choose stipple and dab workshops?

Autentico Star Dealer

Welcome to the world of probably the best chalk paints, chalky wall paints and lime paints available.  All chalk paints and lime paints we offer are waterbased, free of solvents and other harmfull additives (VOC low) and can even be used in situations where anti allergic and anti bacterial features are paramount.  People call it eco paints, organic paints, environmentally friendly paints...we call it AUTENTICO.
We carry the entire colour range in Vintage 1ltr as well as all the 100ml tester pots , We can order in any of the 150 colours in all paint finishes as well as the extensive artistic supplies in our weekly order to be collected in store.  As well as Autentico paint we also stock all waxes, sealer and primer etc.
