Iconic punk and alternative music weekend Undercover Festival is coming to the incredible Battlesbridge Showground in Essex for the first time.

On 26-27 September 2025, alongside legendary and up and coming acts spanning punk, ska and so much more, attendees will enjoy novel extras unlike any other UK festival thanks to this new location.

Battlesbridge Showground hosts 80 antique dealers including music, memorabilia and jewellery specialists, plus a motorcycle museum, micro-pub, American diner and tea room.

The full line-up will be announced soon, with organiser Mick promising an extraordinary array of acts, true to the festival's 11 year legacy, but expect some bands in the mix that also tap into the rich array of local bands.

All 2 day tickets include camping, parking and hot showers, with on-site guest house and campervan access also available.  Merchandise stalls, a reasonably-priced festival bar and food stands will also be on-site.

A limited number of weekend tickets, priced at just £79, are now up for grabs online from Gigantic Tickets OR paper tickets in person from any Undercover gig (Guildford), Intense Records (Chelmsford), Fives Record Shop (Leigh On Sea), Sounds of the Suburbs Records (Ruislip) and Dirt (Norwich).

Described as a proudly independent celebration of DIY and alternative culture, the 'nomadic' Undercover Festival has taken place across four counties, hosting renowned bands including The Damned, Angelic Upstarts, Cockney Rejects, The Dualers, Dreadzone, GBH, King Kurt, Random Hand, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Riskee & The Ridicule, Sham 69, The Selector, Tom Robinson Band, The Skints, Subhumans, Ruts DC, UK Subs.  Sonic Boom Six, Penetration, Popes Of Chillitown, Jilted John even a DJ set from Chris Packham.

Mick urged: "You won't find anything like Undercover Festival, which is why we've moved to this unique location.  Come along and find out what the fuss is about.  If you like your music alternative you will love what we have to offer at Undercover...  as we say at Undercover 'See Ya Down The Front'."

The new location is easily accessible by road, rail and bus.  It is about a 5-minute walk from the train station and just 20 minutes from the M25.

While Undercover Festival is heading to Essex after a run at Guildford's The Suburbs at the Holroyd, the venue remains home to Undercover's regular gigs, with 20 booked in over the rest of 2024 and 2025.  The festival line-up and further shows are coming soon at .

As we say at Undercover See ya down the front or at the bar soon ????
